A mining and contracting company in South Africa has placed a repeat order for an ELKON concrete batching plant, following six years of successful operation with its first unit supplied in 2019.

The customer opted for the ELKON Mix Master-30 PL onsite concrete batching plant, known for its ultra-mobile and compact design. The plant can be installed quickly, requires minimal space, and operates without the need for foundation work which is making it ideal for dynamic project environments.
The selected configuration includes dual dual 6.5 yd³ aggregate bins (15 tons total capacity), a 0.7 yd³ ELKON planetary mixer, a 80-ton cement silo, and a concrete discharge conveyor. This setup is well-suited to meet the production demands of the customer’s egg-laying block machine.
