ELKON continues to strengthen its global presence with more than 1,500 mobile concrete batching plants operating worldwide. One of the most recent installations took place in Iceland, where a local ready-mix producer upgraded its production capacity with an ELKON Mobile Master-60 Pegasus plant, replacing an older generation concrete unit.
The Pegasus model was installed inside a closed building, ensuring reliable operation even under challenging Nordic weather conditions. The plant is equipped with four aggregate bins of 13.5 m³ each and a 75-ton cement silo. Its main unit, designed on a monoblock chassis with axles and wheels, allows for easy relocation by truck trailer whenever needed.
