STRABAG has once again selected ELKON for its operations in Italy, where an ELKOMIX-60 QUICK MASTER compact concrete batching plant has been successfully installed and commissioned for a tunnel shotcrete project in the Alto Adige region.
Building on positive experiences across multiple international projects, STRABAG continues to rely on ELKON solutions for their proven performance, reliability, and operational consistency.
The supplied plant is equipped with powerful ELKON twin shaft mixer and delivers a production capacity of approximately 70 yd³/hour. To ensure long-term durability in demanding site conditions, key components, including maintenance platforms, stairways, aggregate bins, weighing hoppers, and conveyor structures, are fully hot-dip galvanized.
Thanks to ELKON’s modular design and efficient installation concept, along with the support of its local partner, Mauro Service Impianti s.r.l., the plant was installed and commissioned within a short timeframe, enabling rapid project startup.
